Here is a post dedicated to my Washington trip since some of you have asked. If you follow Velasquez Elementary on Facebook then you will see some of the same pictures.

Here we are! Mrs. Patterson and Mrs. Brewer ready to take off to D.C.!

 

BEAUTIFUL fall colors!

The first night we did the D.C. Memorial night tour. It was so pretty!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 Day 2 we had a gorgeous view to look at while we sipped our coffee!

Our next adventure was to the Holocaust Museum. No cameras were allowed. It was an amazing and emotional experience.

 

 

We survived the D.C subway or Metro.

 Finally on Day 3 we accepted the Blue Ribbon plaque and flag for our school!

 

 

The whole trip was an amazing experience. I feel so honored to have been able to represent LCISD and Velasquez Elementary.
